This policy explains what data MemoryJournal collects when you browse, purchase and download, and how it is used. Placeholder copy pending legal review.
1. Data we collect
Account data (email address and profile details you provide at sign-up), order data (product, amount, payment status and timestamps), download records, and limited usage analytics such as page views and search keywords.
2. How we use data
To deliver purchases and downloads, process payments and refunds, provide support, prevent fraud and abuse, and understand which products and searches are popular so we can improve the catalog.
3. Third-party services
Authentication is handled by Clerk, payments by PayPal (card and bank details stay with PayPal and are never stored by us), file storage and delivery by Cloudflare, product analytics by PostHog, and error monitoring by Sentry. Each provider processes data under its own privacy policy.
4. Retention
Account data is kept while your account is active. Order and download records are retained to support licensing, refund decisions and legal obligations. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time.
5. Your rights
Depending on your region you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, and to object to analytics processing. Send any request to the contact below and we will respond within 30 days.
